The curse on the girls born in our family is still feared generations after it happened. When it happened and where?
We have no written record to prove the story. It is only hearsay and I am also dutifully passing it on to you so that you can pass it on to our generations forever.
The princess Ananthanayagi was killed since it was wrongly assumed that he fell in love with a shepherd boy Madhiyappa (Madhiyazhagan). And the curse of the princess to our ancestors during her killing that she is innocent and all our girls in our family will suffer because of it. (The curse should rather be directed towards the males!! I suppose.). The curse is all the girls going out of the family after marriage will not have a peaceful life if they do not worship her.
Though I have not seen much of my suffering, my own aunt, born with my father was rather killed immediately after her marriage. He also did not survive long to live. I will come back to the story much later.
So Ananthanayagi and Madhiyappa were probably buried together and they became our family deity henceforth.
Where are these deities now?
